We all understand economics there professor. You’re the one missing the point, and that point is only a jack wagon won’t help someone out when he has the means to do so. Claiming academic superiority for understanding supply and demand is another story entirely. The point is, with the exception of a handful of clowns, this place has usually been folks helping folks when they can. To defend and advocate the opposite says more about who you are than your ostensible economic prowess.
