I had my place surveyed and found it was all in South Dakota. I was so relieved, that Wyoming weather will drive you nuts. Wind and cold and in the summer you don't need a stove just fry eggs on the hood of your car.
That sounds exactly like a Dakotan!
My folks both came from the Dakotas, Dad born in Lemmon on the prairie, and Mom from Fargo. She used to tell me about classmates who went prospecting for gold in Alaska and didn't return except for visits. When asked why, they said they couldn't stand the North Dakota weather.
