I'm getting set up to load 9mm Luger and I see the Hornady Custom Grade Titanium Nitride dies sets seem to be available (at a premium price).
The sets I'm looking at are part# 546515 and 546516. They are both 3 die sets. The 546516 is called a Taper Crimp Die Set. They both have the same FL sizing die and Expander die.
The difference is that the 546515 has separate Seater and Taper Crimp dies but the 546516 has a combination Taper Crimp/Seater die.
What would be the advantage of one over the other?
I'd like to find a RCBS or Lee Carbide set but they seem to be hard to find or even more over-priced than the Hornadys.
