Not sure if this tech tip was brought up before. No app needs installed. This is for mobile connections(LTE, 5G). Only works on Android 9 and above, and some phone manufacturers lock this section down(Private DNS).

Using my Samsung S21 on Android 11 for example: Click Settings, Connections, More Connection Settings, Private DNS. In Private DNS there are 3 options. Off, Automatic, and Private DNS Provider Hostname. Click Private DNS Provider Hostname and enter dns.adguard.com

May have to restart your phone, but itll now use Adguard as your DNS service. Their filters block ads and trackers BEFORE they get to your phone. Again, no special app required.
