An update- Been tweaking with seating depth and load volumes, have found a very accurate load with the Barnes 127 LRX and RL26. 57.0 gr. is giving me a MV of 3100 fps, and .5 MOA accuracy, with no pressure signs whatsoever. It is probably still a fairly mild load, but at the MV I am seeing, I am perfectly happy with it! For what it's worth- my best accuracy came with a seating depth of .15 off the lands. I started at .05, and worked deeper until the accuracy came around.
I now have two handloads for my 6.5 PRC, the 127 gr. LRX for elk and tougher game, and a Berger 140 VLD Hunting bullet load for everything else. Done with load testing for now, I need to save my supplies of RL26 and Magpro for future use!
