I've done swaging twice in the last fifty-five years of handloading. The second time, I remembered why I stopped swaging the first time. Lot of trouble and expense and you can probably buy good jacketed pistol bullets for the same or less than what you can swage them for. In defense of swaging, I made some pretty good and accurate bullets with my Swag-O-Matic press and dies. I got rid of all that stuff and don't miss it. However, there are some that still use this equipment.

One of the most recent articles (very general) on different ways of making bullets was published in HANDLOADER #253. As I recall, there is a little in the article about the Swag-O-Matic.
