Not to disagree, because I don't, but what she really is is a well-off, late middle aged white woman - the type who typically betray conservative values because they enjoy a cushy position in life and don't face the daily struggle that a typical working woman does. She can afford to lean liberal because it doesn't affect her lifestyle.
She leans very heavily Liberal, while wearing the (R) moniker , not because it doesn’t affect her, because it does.
It affects her in several ways.
It’s makes her the center of attention when it comes to party line legislation and as a result of that attention, it gives her enormous opportunities to benefit financially by selling her vote to the highest bidder.
