I started building a decent coop for them. Exterior is done. Just needing to finish the inside and I’d like to build them a nice large run that comes off one side.

Anyone have any suggestions or tips for a 1st time chicken owner? Maybe recommendations on what breeds to raise? Not interested in meat birds at the moment ... mainly laying hens for now.
