I recently got out of the army and moved to Montana to attend MSU, serve in the National Guard and do some hunting and fishing. I am currently living in Belgrade and trying to find a good area to go turkey hunt. I don’t know the area very well or know anyone who has experience turkey hunting out here so I’ve just been hiking the trails between Belgrade and Big Sky and using locator calls with little effect thus far. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I’m planning on heading out to Livingston tomorrow to try my luck in the Absaroka Range.
