My first and only bird yet this season was killed with a boss 20 GA 2 3/4 waterfowl load. #5 copper plated bismuth through a jebs full choke at 30 yards. It stomped the hell out of light geese during season and sure did a number on Mr. Tom.
I echo other sentiments, if you are looking at turkey loads through the lens of frugality, you probably are in the wrong past time.
