Cormorants are the worst.
Pelicans have cormorants beat by a bit. In the above mentioned event, my landlord came into possession of one, and it had eaten a 24" trout. Plus, if you're a farmer you can shoot depredating cormorants, but pelicans are a no-no bird. Not to mention they are so big, it's hard to hide the bodies.....
