Not in MD but I hunted them a couple of times on Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge in VA when I was stationed there. One of the areas I drew on the refuge butted right up to the MD line. There is literally a 3 strand fence that marks the border. They are fun to hunt and you will get wet doing it. They aren't very big. You will be lucky to get one that weighs more than 60 lbs on the hoof. In VA if you draw the tag for Chincoteague you can take 5, either sex, on the permit. MD may have OTC tags but VA didn't.

I'd hunt them again if the chance ever comes around but I doubt you will ever find me on the east coast again.
