Should be good.
It's my understanding that all of the many "models" of the Crosman and Benjamin Nitro Piston rifles are built on basically the same two Chinese power plants - Regular and XL (extra long).
The models vary with regard to scope mounting, stocks, sights, and muzzle devices.
I've used the 22 and 177 versions and found them to be powerful and accurate. The "clean break trigger" while not great was satisfactory for my purposes (plinking and pest control).
Stock trigger can easily be tweaked or replaced with "Charley Da Tuna" parts.
The 22 packs more punch than .177.
I haven't clocked these rifles but they don't break mach 1 unless there's residual oil between piston and pellet.
