I have the MSR Windburner. It works as advertised. It boils water faster than any other stove I've used. I'd guess 2-3 mins for 30 oz water. The only caution is to pay attention to how long it runs at that burn rate. I got ~ 120 oz water boiled with 1 small fuel canister.

I've used the Snow Peak and the MSR Whisperlite. Neither boil water as fast as the Windburner. I use the Snow Peak as a day pack stove for coffee/soup.

The Windburner is a bit heavier as you noted but I've found it to be very reliable and quick.
