For me, it was a picture of a Seguine custom hunting knife in a Gun Digest somewhere around 1967. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a custom knife. Never had dreams of being good enough to earn a membership in the Knifemaker's Guild, much less be asked to be a member of the Technical Committee.
