Terrible, filthy animals.
I’m conflicted, do we need to police the world, and give up American lives, or let these hell hole countries sort them selves out?
Will the US ever need petroleum or other strategic minerals from other parts of the world? It is easy to say, "let them sort out their own issues", but that will never happen.
If the US abdicates responsibility for any given third world region, other powers will immediately step in and take control of whatever the area has to offer. They will do so while offering "peace, stability, and economic benefit".
Cuba and the lessons we learned the hard way seem to be forgotten.
