That post is GOOD. Uric acid in system is causative. The colchicine seems to break down the crystalline formations that cause the acute attack symptoms. The Allopurinol on steady dose is meant to keep uric acid level under control - can also help overall kidney performance - Creatinine lower and GFR higher when applicable.
