I was surfing the online Cabela's Gun Library and a Parker Brothers GH 16 gauge #1 frame showed up. Manufactured in 1897 this one had excellent 28" Damascus pattern with wonderful original finish. There was some remaining case color also and the Dog's Head butt-plate. I used "speed dial" and had the gun shipped to my local Cabela's. The bores are shiny and without flaw and measure exactly modified. They priced it at $1499.99...yup, I just love their pricing (sometimes). I received the letter from PGCA confirming the configuration. Please excuse me, I had already posted a thread about this shotgun. Getting old can be interesting.
