We were able to hold our second smallbore metallic silhouette match of 2021 today. I shot reasonably well and moved up to AAA in the hunter rifle class but that wasn't a big deal. The big deal was when young Kalvin Marsh, going for a long run record, hit 104 pigs in a row! Anyone who has competed in this sport can appreciate what an accomplishment this was. Especially with an audience. In addition, this was done on a fairly windy day. Had it not been for an ill-timed gust, he would have probably kept the run going. Interestingly enough, his effort beat the previous record of 77 which was held by his older brother, Jordan. There are three brothers and all are exceptional offhand shooters. GD
