I have been shooting my Grandad's .577 Snider a lot lately.
I replaced the stock many years ago when I found a donor rifle , and found a sight in my dearly departed father's spare parts , and started having fun!
This month I decided to make a concerted effort to shoot it accurately, and have been doing fairly well at 200 meters with a front rest.
I can hit a 24" gong about 90% or better at 200 with a 450 grain Lee Snider bullet , 75 grains of FFG and corn meal filler.
SO, my question is for you Sinder shooters , is this decent accuracy for a short barreled MK1 Snider Enfield??
