So far the only bullet I've pushed is the 120 NBT and 3000 fps gives me NO trouble.

Oh I know Jwall My Push Feed M-70 is chambered in .270 and I shoot a pretty healthy load of 130 grain bullet over 56.7 grains of IMR 4831 which scares the hell out of 3100 FPS in a 22" barrel.
I'm thinking of building a 6.5x55 on a Yugo 24/47 action. But yeah If I had a spare push feed M-70 action I wouldn't think twice about chambering it in 6.5x55.
