An H&R 20 gauge was my first shotgun @ 14.
This looks to be the same genre.
It was small, simple to operate, and easily cleaned; the only things going for it as a youth.
The tiny, stiff hammer sucked to pull back (especially in the cold) and it kicked straight back...hard.
