I use to have some delayed ignition issues with CCI #11 magnum caps, especially in 0 degree temps. One night, about 15 years ago, I compared them to RWS caps, while sitting in the dark. The RWS caps threw ALOT more fire out the muzzle, than the CCIs (Remington 700ml, 24" barrel).
The night before going to the range, I put 4 RWS caps in a cup of water.....14 hours later, 3 of them went off!!!
I've used RWS ever since. Ignition is almost instant, in all weather conditions.
