Cut the tip off,replace it,blend & finish.
If I was doing it, I'd get rid of the plastic tip and white spacer, fit a rosewood tip. Some rosewood is oily and doesn't take a finish well. Acetone will get rid of the excess oil, then it finishes nicely.
Not original, will just look much better. I'd probably do the same with the grip cap and white spacer on the butt plate. If it has a pad, I'd replace it with one that doesn't have a white line.
Now, it'll look more like a Custom Shop gun.
