No matter what you say or do the traitors cannot be negotiated with, pandered to or understood. Nothing is enough for them. They always want more. You will never be the right person to fit into their demographic check list. If you give in to their demands, it will only reveal your weakness. They will still hate you in the end. Then destroy you and kill you.
