If you want to show your kids a camping experience, get a tent and take them camping. Some of my best memories growing up in CO were camping trips with the family next to a stream full of trout and it damn sure didn't cost a few grand per person.
You get out of life what you are willing to accept. If you ain't happy, do something about it!
