It would be worse here I'm afraid. If they were able to de-arm the people, they would be on a blood thirsty power grab that they have been denied for centuries. And many of us would be officially declared enemies of the state. You know the rest. It's happening now but it would be 100x worse. I think several million people would literally be dead in the streets before it comes to that though. The smarter strategy is the one they have been engaged in for about a century- progressive incrementalism. Death by a thousands paper cuts. Restrict this, tax the Hell out of that, make it unaffordable to own a gun or buy ammo etc etc etc.

Progressives are the most open minded, tolerant, and inclusive people on the planet, as long as you agree with everything they say, and do exactly as you're told.
