MtnBoomer or anyone else I have a few questions about Kimber stocks.

I have an 84M that was made in about 2006. Recently, because of shoulder problems I decided to cut the stock down 1/2 to 5/8 inches. When I look at the recoil pad I see no screw holes or marks so I assume the pad was glued in place.

Were the 84M pads glued to the stock?

Were all the 84M stocks made in 2006 carbon fiber or were other materials used?

If I cut off the old pad will there be any material in the stock to screw on a new pad or will I have to glue it on?

Any advice or suggestions would be welcome!

Thanks
