Ummm.
They are suing gun clubs for lead exposure??

Was common on both coasts starting 10/20 years ago. A lot of gun clubs folded here because they couldn’t fight the lawsuits. Or pay for lead abatement and re-engineering the range.
My club had assets, and enough members able to pay a lawsuit fee to pay for the defense.

They sued a public range for bullets supposedly sailing over a mountain and hitting houses on the other side.
I think some of the people filing suit didn’t like hearing gun fire.

We had a popular public land waterfowl area closed for the noise issue. Homeowners that recently moved in call police every time a hunter shot in the marsh. The cops got tired of responding and the state closed the area for an β€œenvironmental impact β€œ study....

Nothing from the state heard on the study and they never opened the area again. The next year in the hunting regulations was a notice to respect non hunters and to not make issues. Basically it implied leaving an area if a non hunter was upset . So much for hunter harassment laws.

Just examples of how antis evolved using public opinion and courts to stop activities they hate.

Decades of voting for the lesser of two evils has gotten us just that.....
