THAT - would be a game changer.

A ,9+1 ,45 ACP would be a game changer?
How so?
Especially since the 30S is almost the same and the 36 is the worst selling standard caliber Glock ever.

No, it is not almost the same... the G30s is still a brick.

And sales of a slimline, 1911 capacity GLOCK, in a world of high capacity manics, or 9mm sycophants, is not indicative of its intrinsic value.

The G36 was GLOCKs first single-stack CCW pistol.

And .45 ACP speaks for itself.

You're missing the whole point. The larger diameter that a cartridge is, the less efficient it is at using magazine space. In other words, there's a lot more "air" in the magazine. I don't think it's possible to get 9rds of 45 in a G36 grip frame. Also, the G43x/48 is a stack and a half. It's easier getting it to a double stack when you're using .35 bullets. The G36 is a single stack and trying to get it to a stack and a half with .45 caliber bullets is impossible.

The GLOCK G36 magazine - is a fat-body singlestack.

It has internal rails to make it so.

A properly designed doublestack steel mag would greatly increase the capacity, up to possibly 9 or more rounds.
