Workingdude, I do not see a problem with your route south 127/125 to hwy 14 to 40 etc. It is cool country to drive through and I have friends in Steamboat who say the routes are open. Bear in mind my info is second hand . Wish I were in that neck of the woods right now myself. Too many elk seasons have passed since I left my home in the high country!
