I don't know squat about which one is "best" but I will say that the big 1000s and such, when you get one stuck you better have a tree close enough to winch to. You may as well have a half ton pickup stuck. With the smaller 570s, etc. at least a guy can somewhat man handle it, yank the ass end one way or the other or whatever you need to do to get it unstuck if you're alone and can't winch it out.

For my general hunting and general work needs, there's no way I'd get anything other than a Polaris Ranger midsize 500 or 570, or something similarly small. They tow relatively light trailers just fine and I've used one to yank out a chained up John Deere 3025D that was high centered on a snow bank. The OP's needs and situation may very well be different I guess but that is my 2 cents.
