My kids kill deer mostly with ARs. The biggest issue I have is chambering quietly. Compressing the plunger and riding the extractor over the rim while seating the bolt slowly enough to avoid a loud clack is difficult to do consistently.

Obviously loading away from the hunting area is the best bet. We climb ladders most of the time. As we are in no danger of drawing fire from the enemy there is no need to risk climbing with a round in the chamber.

Has anyone had good results modifying bolt parts to make it easier to seat the bolt while maintaining reliable extraction?
