I'm definitely interested in the new Loomis IMX Pro Creek 7'9" 4wt. I've never had a Loomis. I've been using mostly for 2 seasons now a TFO Finesse Trout 7'9" 4Wt, and this rod is perfect for my need, a small mountain stream. But it is a little to wimpy, and I've broken it twice already. But I do like the TFO way of replacement. Both times I called, and the section I needed was at my door 3 or 4 days, aprox $35 each time.
The Loomis is I'm sure slightly stiffer rod, a little faster, and the composition of its make I believe going to take abuse more. I need every aspect mentioned for a perfect rod for me! How is Loomis when it comes to replacement, warranty backup??
I don't like having to send in a rod that's bull! TFO, you just tell which section, and the warranty would have covered it had a fish broke it, but I told truth of it being my fault. Last time I got a new tip and a 2nd back up tip. Any reviews on this Loomis rod or Loomis experience??
