Some of the A5s of the 40s were built in America at the Remington plant. Not as a Model 11 but as an Auto 5 Browning.
I'm sure there are some differences between the 2. I know the Belgium A5 has a much nicer finish and engraving etc......
The Nazis had control of the Herstal Belgium plant.



The American ones didn’t have a magazine cutoff on the left side, like the Belgian ones. Also, much “plainer” overall. Not sure if there were differences in the tang that would make wood fitment an issue.
