Well I now have a Jager in hand .54 cal Getz swamped barrel The lock is a Davis. To the range tomorrow to try it out. Sparked the lock a few times its dumping the sparks into the pan we will see. This is the one I mentioned and as i thought it is a tad long. However it has no patch box so I believe i can get one of our local builders to shorten it and redo the butt plate. It is usable as is so that will wait till hunting is finished.
