When to the Tucannon Wilderness Area this year near Pomeroy, WA. Saw lots of deer, a couple shooters, but none in range on opening day.

The rifle in the first photo is the current manifestation of Tanner's old 243 AI with a Bushnell LRHSi 4.5-18 on it. It's a drill with Hornady 105 BTHPs over 47 grains of 7828SSC.

Met Mallard Addict in camp, he was in the slot next to us.

And, saw a mature big horn ram two days in a row. In the shot below, he was walking down the road in front of us and hopped the fence to get out to the way.
