I do this for those simple as needed time things. I haven't tried the magnifying glasses with lights that you wear. However, getting one of those LED lights with built-in magnifier was something I wish I had done decades earlier. I first came across them when my wife asked for one for her sewing and quilting. Later, after seeing how useful it was, I vowed to get one for my shop and for my mancave. I did so and they have been invaluable. Heck, if you never use the magnifier, the adjustable LED light is super useful.
