Current house is milled log. I’m good for most rounds. When I win the lotto it’ll be field stone.
With a spring in the living room, and lead sheeting roof.
But then again the title said suburban home, so I’m out I guess.
Field stone was my choice, but wallet said vinyl siding, a cracker box as far as trying to soak up bullets.
My poured basement with solid 8" concrete walls is a big plus, if only I can get to it if it hits the fan.
