And they can make up into a versatile field rifle. But if truly limited to one choice it would be in a .24, .25, or .26 caliber rifle I'm most fond of, and have the most history with my model 70 classic featherweight in .243. Next up for those parameters would be my custom barreled classic FWT in 25-06. And both of these I've described as sparklingly accurate. But I've also got a stainless synthetic MRC Campfire .260 w 1 in 8" barrel. It's never been quite as accurate as either of my classic fwts, but I shoot as well with it from field positions. I'm good with any of this trio... If I were to experiment with new rifles I'd look to a Fieldcraft or a Nula "Chances Will Be Taken"
