I check zero before every season. All are cleaned after season. I have a couple of factory barrels that need a few fouling shots to settle down. If I have any questions about zero it goes to the range. I once had a sling snap climbing in a stand. I checked zero before hunting it again. I rather enjoy range time and reloading.
