Question of the Week:
Reporting Lost or Stolen Firearms
With school shootings and other firearm violence in the spotlight in recent years, concerns about firearm safety have been a hot topic of discussion. A new bill was recently introduced by Representative Subeck that she says would help law enforcement better track down and recover lost or stolen firearms. Under the bill, a person who owns a firearm that is stolen or missing must report the theft or loss to a law enforcement agency within 24 hours of discovering the theft or loss or face a Class A misdemeanor. In addition, loss or theft of commercially sold firearms must be reported within 24 hours of discovering the theft or loss as well, or face a $500 fine, 30 days imprisonment or both.

Some info on the bitch introducing this bill.A Demonrat-go figure.
