There was a time conservatives didnt think cars, trains or planes would become common.
Cars got stuck. Couldn't travel off roads like a horse. Planes fell from the sky and people die. Electricity was dangerous. It would kill yiu or burn your house down. No body would talk on a party line. Therre would be thousands of telephone lines to put up. Who wants to put money in a phone to talk to someone. Wtf are those goofy things with a wire loop on people's hips. No one will ever be able to afford a computer, much less carry one.

Usedta be, only the rich could own a car, and the poor rode horses.
Now, only the rich can own horses and the poor drive cars.
