Don't have a 7x57mm Mauser, but I DO have several 8 mm's.

Shot a few boxes of S&B ammo out of them, and saved to brass to reload. They measure up well.

One box got 2 load developments and 4 more loadings (6 uses total) before rings began to show around the base. Another got 1 development and 5 loadings before the same (again, 6 uses total). About 5-7 loadings (with proper loading, annealing and care) is all I'm going to ever ask of my brass at any rate, so there's that. With some chamberings, 3-5 is the most I ask.

I wouldn't say this is top brass on par with Lapua, because YMMV. Have never acquired any Lapua brass, so I can't really even say that for comparison (just going by word of mouth here). I will say that, for average plinking, practice, and hunting, S&B will suffice the average loader's needs.
