I debated with myself about posting this here as I'm not sure this would be considered a tactical rifle, but it does have some of the features f one and the feedback here is usually pretty straight, so here goes-

I had a Ruger American Ranch in .300 Blackout, but sold it to pay for another rifle. I miss the handiness of the Ruger as a walking around rifle and am thinking about replacing it and looking for candidates.

The Howa mini, (my first choice) is no longer available in 300 Blackout and the Ruger American does little for me, especially in the reliability department. This would be a budget rifle meant to ride on the tractor and similar duties, so building something on a Remington or other action is not in the plans. I'm thinking affordable, turn-key utility rifle.

The new Mossberg looks intriguing, but being that I've never been a Mossberg fan, I'm cautious about considering it, so am looking for some firsthand experiences/reviews on it. I like that it has sights on it because this rifle would be destined for short-medium range work. I may want to throw a reflex or LPV on whatever I end up with.

So, anyone here handle and shoot one of these Moosebergs?
