I posted this on the Marlin thread in the crazy forum up top, but a quick review of recently sold 1895 SBL's on gunbroker shows that NIB ones are going for the mid-upper $3000 range, like $3700 and thereabouts. Even used ones are getting $2,700 or so.

The limited availability on the new Ruger will inevitably drive prices for them way up over MSRP for the foreseeable future, but it will be interesting to see how that affects prices on the older Marlins.
