I'm sure the cheap China battery will work for the Garmin Striker 4 Plus and hopefully it will work for my 1/2" drill as well. I'm guessing that the 2.0AH oem battery that came with the drill will power the Garmin for the 6-7hrs of ice fishing, but this way I'll have an extra battery to run the auger. I also have a 4.0AH Ridgid battery from another tool.

I'm thinking of making a collapsible transducer pole to get the transducer below the ice and oriented correctly. Old hiking staff and pool noodle would be perfect.
