These guys are not the cute, cuddly critters you see on Animal Planet. They are big, tough, small-alligator eating water pit bulls that can rip you a new [bleep].


This one turned out a little soft, but his teeth were visible so I kept it. He was diving and bringing up crawfish and crushing them and eating them whole.


He just swallowed a small crab.


Watching.


Not as many birds as last year.



Lots of Tundra Swans.


And Pintails, with some Shovelers, Gadwalls and Widgeon among them.
