I had a post about using the TTSX Bushmaster bullets in my Encore.

Someone recommended the yellow Harvester sabot. I ordered some.

They fly ridiculously well. Honestly cutting holes at 100yds.

Saturday I snuck up on a coyote sitting on a trail in the sun. She got up and started crossing the trail but she was a bit slow.

Thats the exit side.

Shot was about 50yds I'd guess.

Charge is close to max with BH209. Around 2050fps at the muzzle.

That would likely be just inside a deers chest if I had to guess based on comparison of shooting and handling a bunch of yotes and deer.

Very happy and impressed with the performance.

I know probably all Barnes tipped muzzleloader bullets and Thors perform very similarly. I've shot Thors and know first hand. I've used the same bullet from my Bushmaster 300fps faster and it performed perfectly.

In my case, it's nice to be able to use the same bullet to feed both rifles. They were available so I stocked up on them and the sabots. I've learned when you find something that works and you like it, you buy enough to get through a long while.

Not cheap...but I'll pay for the accuracy and known repeatable performance that I get from them.

Figured I'd share. Might be others looking for a good bullet for their Bushmaster and inline. Or a good bullet for either.
