I finally got around to cleaning my switchback for the first time. Ended up having to let baffles sit in slip 2000 carbon killer for a week, that got 75% of it. nylon brushes didn't do squat even after that. 0000 got most of the rest off, ran it through a tumbler with some walnut media at the very end.


I read about heating the baffles up for 15min in an oven at 250 and then dropping them in some Dot 5 synthetic brake fluid afterwards. Folks are saying this makes future cleaning extremely easy.

I did the bogo thing silencerco just did before this past xmas. Got an omega 300 coming and the free one is the octane 9. Read the octane 9 makes a pretty dang good 22 suppressor also and of course I can shoot it on my 9mm at 300bo. Now I wait...
